Nestled
in the heart of Bucks County, this historic home
is surrounded by over 100 acres of picturesque
countryside,
with lots to do. Whether you're casting a fishing line in our pond, where
you're likely to hook a bass, or ice skating in the beauty of winter,
you will enjoy each season to it's fullest.
Don't be surprised
if you see a flock of wild turkeys or Canada
geese. Fox pups have played among our thoroughbred
horses that grace the terrain against the rise
of Buckingham Mountain.
Mill
Creek Farm B & B house guests have
free and unlimited use of the all-weather,
lighted tennis court
and skating pond.
Millcreek Farm was the 1994 Designer house for Bucks County, and as
a result each room is unique.
In
the manor house, guests may choose
from among five distinctively furnished and
very private bedrooms. Each bedroom has
a queen-size bed with rich linens, lofty
duvets, air conditioning and its own
full bath. The bedroom layout, with
no two rooms sharing a common wall, assures
the utmost in peace and quiet.

Travelers
expect a B&B to have a good bed and
an even better breakfast. Mill Creek Farm
doesn't disappoint on either count. Early
risers may partake of a buffet consisting of
healthful cereals, fresh fruits, muffins, toasting
breads, fruit juices, yogurt, really good
coffee and a nice selection of teas. Then, your
main course is prepared
from scratch and served at the time
you specify at your own private
table. Individual
dietary preferences are cheerfully accommodated
when discussed in advance of your visit.
Operating
as B&B for the past twenty years,
the oldest part of the manor house was
originally a 2-room
cottage (a hut, really) built in the
1690s. Two more rooms were
added in the 1730s by the proprietors
of what was
then called Sylvan
Retreat, a
vast dairy and
apple farm. An
extensive expansion of the house took
place in the 1870s, effectively trebling
the size to its current 4,000+ square
feet.
Mill
Creek Farm B&B is ideally situated
for guests coming to Bucks County
for a weekend getaway. It's only
a 10
minute drive into Doylestown, PA or to
the twin-sister Delaware River villages
of New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ. It's
just down the road from the shops and
outlets at Peddler's Village in Lahaska,
PA. Playhouses,
museums, wineries, pubs, galleries, antique
stores and fine dining establishments
abound in close proximity.
Mill Creek Farm is in an ideal location, halfway
between New Hope and Doylestown, PA, just
far enough off the busy byways, the farm's
landscaped acres contain a lively duck pond,

court and swimming pool. The estate's photogenic
early Colonial era buildings
include the stone manor house, summer kitchen,
smoke house, corn crib, dairy barn, bank barn,
and 13-stall stable complex.
The
farm is about one mile off the
intersection of routes 202/263 and
413, and a mere 5-minute drive to Peddler’s Village
in Lahaska. The drive-time
from Center City Philadelphia is about 45
